Naeim Giladi
Naeim Giladi ( he, נעים גלעדי, ar, نعيم جلعدي) (18 March 1926 – 6 March 2010) was an anti-Zionist Iraqi Jew, and author of an autobiographical article and historical analysis titled "The Jews of Iraq". The article later formed the basis for his originally self-published book ''Ben-Gurion's Scandals: How the Haganah and the Mossad Eliminated Jews''. Biography Early life in Iraq Giladi was born Naeim Khalasch ( he, נעים חלסצ׳י) on 18 March 1926 to an Iraqi Jews, Iraqi Jewish family and later lived in Israel and the United States. Giladi describes his family as, "a large and important" family named "Haroon" who had settled in Iraq after the Babylonian captivity, Babylonian exile. Hillah ( ar, ٱلْحِلَّة ''al-Ḥillah''), also spelled Hilla, is a city in central Iraq on the Hilla branch of the Euphrates River, south of Baghdad. The population is estimated at 364,700 in 1998. It is the capital of Babylon Province and is located adjacent to the ancient city of Babylon, and close to the ancient cities of Borsippa and Kish. The Hebrew Free Burial Association (HFBA) was established in 1888 as a free burial society serving the residents of Manhattan's Lower East Side. It was incorporated as a non-profit organization with the name of Chebra Agudas Achim Chesed Shel Emeth (The Society of the Brotherhood of True Charity ) on January 25, 1889.
