Nady, Arkansas
Nady is an unincorporated community in Arkansas County, Arkansas, United States. It is the location of a National Historic Landmark, the Menard–Hodges site. The environs of Nady, at the southern tip of the Little Prairie, are in the portion of Arkansas that saw the earliest European settlement in what is now the state of Arkansas, including Tonty’s 1686 post. The Menard-Hodges archeological site, about one-half mile southwest of Wallace-Menard-Coose Cemetery, along with the adjacent Wallace Bottom archeological site, appear to be the locations of the late 1600s Quapaw village of Osotouy, Tonty’s 1686 Post, and the early to mid-1700s French Arkansas Post. Ahmad Mohammad Nady ( ar, أحمد محمد نادي) is an Egyptian political cartoonist, comic artist and activist. Belonging to a family of artists, Nady began his career early on, steadily rising to become one of the best known comic artists in Egypt at a young age. Jay Nady
Jay Nady (born August 23, 1947) is a championship boxing referee and the uncle of former Major League Baseball outfielder Xavier Nady. Biography Nady boxed and played football at the University of Nevada, Reno in the 1960s. For his accomplishments on the field and in the ring, he was inducted into the UNR Hall of Fame in 1986. Nady's refereeing career also started at the University of Nevada. In 1970 he began refereeing amateur boxing. Nady earned his professional license in 1972 and has since officiated close to 2,500 boxing matches. Nady served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1972 as a 2nd lieutenant, and was discharged from the reserves as a captain in 1978. Nady served a member of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, appointed by then Governor Richard Bryan. Although he maintained his refereeing credentials, he did not officiate during his three-year appointment, and resigned his commission early to resume his ring duties. Jeffrey Wray Nicholas Nady (born February 15, 1990) is an American football tackle who is currently the offensive line coach for the University of South Dakota. He was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He played college football at Nevada. Nady has also played for the Atlanta Falcons and Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League. Early years Nady was a two-year letterwinner in football at Douglas High School. Xavier Clifford Nady VI (; born November 14, 1978) is an American former professional baseball outfielder and first baseman. Nady played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Arizona Diamondbacks, Washington Nationals, San Francisco Giants, and the San Diego Padres.
