Nadigan
''Nadigan'' () is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language comedy thriller film written directed by P. Vasu. A remake of the Hindi film ''Professor'' (1962), it stars Sathyaraj and Khushbu. The film was released on 30 November 1990 and became a success, winning four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. Plot Raja's mother requires a major operation to be done. However, due to poverty, Raja decides to look for a job in Ooty. While travelling on a train with his mother to Ooty, he meets Devaraj, who is actually a music teacher travelling to island estate – Ooty for a monthly waged job. Shakthi Vasudevan (born as Prashanth Vasudevan) is an Indian actor who has predominantly worked on Tamil-language films. The son of director P. Vasu, Shakthi began his career as a child artist in his father's films before making his comeback in the lead role in ''Thottal Poo Malarum'' (2007). Vennira Aadai Moorthy (born 25 July 1936) is an Indian actor and comedian in Tamil cinema. He has starred in many Tamil films and television serials as a comedian and also played supporting roles. He is a lawyer by education, and holds a B.L. degree in addition to a PhD in astrology. Pandu (19 February 1947 – 6 May 2021) was an Indian Tamil actor and graphic designer who appeared in many comedy roles in Tamil cinema. He made his acting debut in the film ''Maanavan'' (1970). A Doctor of Philosophy graduate in arts from France, he was also a visual artist who founded Capital Letters, a graphic designing company. He most notably designed the party symbol and logo of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. His brother Idichapuli Selvaraj had also previously appeared in films as a comedian.
