Nadia Azzi
Nadia Azzi (born August 11, 1998 in Dunedin, Florida) is an American classical pianist of Lebanese people, Lebanese-Japanese people, Japanese origin. Fluent in Japanese and English, she began playing piano at age four and a half and has won many awards since then. She currently resides in Los Angeles. Studies Currently a student of the Colburn School, Azzi studies with Fabio Bidini. She had previously been a pre-college student of The Juilliard School, studying with Yoheved Kaplinsky, and graduated high school at the Professional Performing Arts School. Azzi had studied during the summer at the Aspen Music Festival and School, Yellow Barn Young Artists Program, among others. She is on the Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP) listing for the most academically gifted students and is a member of the American Mensa. Orchestre De La Francophonie
The Orchestre de la Francophonie is a Canadian symphony orchestra based in Montreal. It was founded in as temporary orchestra to play at the 2001 Jeux de la Francophonie (Francophone Games) in Canada. However, it went on to become a permanent orchestra which specializes in training young musicians. The average age of the members is 24. Half of them come from Quebec with the remainder from other Canadian provinces and French-speaking countries. The orchestra's founding artistic director and chief conductor is Jean-Philippe Tremblay. The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra (NISO) is an American symphony orchestra based in Indiana. Originally called the Gary Symphony, the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra (NISO) performed their first show on December 7, 1941, opening with the Star Spangled Banner. The original orchestra was amateur; they became professional and changed their name to the current title in 1976. The orchestra attracted attention in the mid-1980s when Itzhak Perlman performed with them as a soloist, and subsequently also played with Stephen Hough and Marilyn Horne.
