Western Asia, West Asia, or Southwest Asia, is the westernmost subregion of the larger geographical region of Asia, as defined by some academics, UN bodies and other institutions. Nader Charbel Matar ( ar, نادر شربل مطر, ; born 12 May 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Ansar and the Lebanon national team. Matar began his senior career in 2008 in Portugal, playing for Sporting CP B and Oeiras. He moved to Spain in 2010, where he played for Atlético Madrid C and Canillas, before moving to Ghana-based Asante Kotoko in 2012. He returning to Portugal in 2014, playing six months at Beira-Mar. Shafeek Nader ( ar, شفيق نادر 1926–1986) was the first son of Rose Nader, and older brother of Ralph Nader, Laura Nader and Claire Nader. Rose Nader (Arabic: روز نادر) (February 7, 1906 – January 20, 2006; born Rose Bouziane) was a Lebanese-American activist in her hometown of Winsted, Connecticut. She was the mother of U.S. activist, consumer advocate, and frequent third-party candidate Ralph Nader, professor Laura Nader, community advocate Shafeek Nader, and social scientist Claire Nader. Biography Rose Bouziane was born in Zahlé, Ottoman Empire. She taught high school French and Arabic, as the first woman teacher to teach outside of her hometown, before she married Nathra Nader in 1925.
