Nadeem Anjum
Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum Sheikh is a three-star general in the Pakistan Army and is currently serving as the Director-General of the ISI since 20 November 2021. Personal life He hails from the village of Mohra Sheikhan located in Kauntrila, in the Gujar Khan Tehsil of Rawalpindi District. Military career He was commissioned in the 28th Punjab Regiment and is from the 77th PMA Long Course. He served as the Inspector-General of the Frontier Corps in Balochistan from December 2016 to December 2018. He has also served as Corps Commander of the V Corps from December 2020 to October 2021. Lieutenant General is a three-star army officer rank in the Pakistan Army. It is equivalent to a vice admiral in the Pakistan Navy and an air marshal in the Pakistan Air Force. Lieutenant general (Lt Gen, LTG and similar) is a three-star military rank (NATO code OF-8) used in many countries. The rank traces its origins to the Middle Ages, where the title of lieutenant general was held by the second-in-command on the battlefield, who was normally subordinate to a captain general. Sarfraz Ali (general)
Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali ( ; 13 September 1971 – 2 August 2022) was a Pakistani general. He was the commander of the Pakistan Army's XII Corps from December 2020 until his death in a military helicopter crash on 2 August 2022. Personal life Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali is survived by a widow, two sons and a daughter. His son is also serving in the Pakistan Army as a Captain and was his ADC. Pakistan Military Academy ( ur, ), also referred to by its acronym PMA. PMA is an officers training school located near Kakul village in the city and district of Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa established in 1947. It is the sole service academy in Pakistan tasked with transforming cadets into Army Officers. For educational training, the institution is accredited by NUST. Cadets have to go through 2 years of rigorous military training until they can finally be termed an Officer.
