Nadadouro is one of twelve civil parishes ('' freguesias'') in the municipality of Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 1,904, in an area of 10.60 km². The parish of Nadadouro borders the popular tourist destination of the Lagoa de Óbidos which is a lagoon located in the municipalities Óbidos and Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. Caldas Da Rainha
Caldas da Rainha () is a medium-sized Portuguese city in the Oeste region, in the historical province of Estremadura, and in the district of Leiria. The city serves as the seat of the larger municipality of the same name and of the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Oeste (OesteCIM, Intermunicipal Community of the West). At the 2011 census, the municipality had a population of 51,729 in an area of , with 30,343 residing in the city. Although the city itself lies about inland, three of the municipality's civil parishes lie on the Atlantic Ocean. Caldas da Rainha is best known for its sulphurous hot springs and ceramic pottery. Comunidade Intermunicipal do Oeste ( or ; in English: Intermunicipal Community of the West; abbreviated OesteCIM) is an administrative division of Portugal, located on the country's western central coast. The Lagoa de Óbidos is a lagoon that extends between the municipalities of Óbidos and Caldas da Rainha, in the Oeste region of Portugal.
