Nachtflug
''Nachtflug'' is the seventh album by Austrian singer Falco. In Germany, ''Nachtflug'' marked the return of Falco to the album and single charts after four years of absence, during which his only charted singles were seen in his home country of Austria. The single "Titanic" almost reached the top 25 of the Slovakian "Okeychart". Falco saw success with the single "Titanic" in Austria, peaking at number 3 and staying on the charts for 18 weeks. The album itself profited from this success and Falco reached Number 1 on the Austrian album charts again, a feat which his previous two full-length albums had failed to achieve. Despite being a hit in Europe, and although "Titanic" received many prizes, it failed to chart in the United States. Another single, "Dance Mephisto", also made it to the Austrian charts but only saw minor success. The title track, also a single, failed to chart. Johann "Hans" Hölzel (; 19 February 1957 – 6 February 1998), better known by his stage name Falco, was an Austrian singer and musician. Falco had several international hits including " Der Kommissar" (1981), " Rock Me Amadeus", " Vienna Calling", " Jeanny", " The Sound of Musik", " Coming Home (Jeanny Part II, One Year Later)", and posthumously " Out of the Dark". "Rock Me Amadeus" reached No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' charts in 1986, making him the only artist in history whose principal language was German, to score a ''vocal'' number-one hit in the United States. According to his estate, he has sold 20 million albums and 40 million singles, which makes him the best-selling Austrian singer of all time. Bolland & Bolland are two Dutch music producers and brothers, Rob Bolland (born 17 April 1955) and Ferdi Bolland (born on 5 August 1956). They were born in Port Elizabeth in South Africa. Career They produced and wrote for such artists as Falco (including his Number 1 hit "Rock Me Amadeus"), Samantha Fox ("Love House"), and wrote the Status Quo hit " In the Army Now" – which they released under their own name in 1981 and which was also recorded by Gerard Joling. ''Out of the Dark (Into the Light)'' is the eighth album by Austrian singer Falco, released in 1998. It was released less than a month after Falco's death on 6 February 1998. Background information In 1995, the techno-styled song " Mutter, der Mann mit dem Koks ist da" ("Mother, the man with the coke (cocaine/charcoal) is here") by T>>MA ("T>>MA" as Falco's pseudonym) hit the market and brought the artist back into the charts of all German-speaking countries. In the song Falco plays with the ambiguity of the German word "Koks" which means both cocaine and charcoal. Although Falco's band leader found " Out of the Dark" good enough to be released as the second single, Falco himself wanted it to be released on the album only. Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole musical piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. In terms of performance, the major categories are live dance music and recorded dance music. Pop rap (also known as pop hip-hop, hip pop, melodic hip-hop or melodic rap) is a genre of music fusing the rhythm-based lyricism of hip hop music with pop music's preference for melodious vocals and catchy tunes. Electrola is a German record label and subsidiary of Universal Music Group. Based in Munich, its roster has included Chumbawamba, Matthias Reim, Helene Fischer, Brings, Höhner and Santiano.
