Nabadwip Vidyasagar College (Bengali: নবদ্বীপ বিদ্যাসাগর কলেজ) is a college affiliated to the University of Kalyani, situated in Nabadwip in Nadia, West Bengal, India. University Grants Commission (UGC) is a statutory body set up by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education in India. Nabadwip (), also spelt Navadwip, anciently Nadia or Nudiya, is a heritage city in Nadia district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is regarded as a holy place by Hindus, and is the birthplace of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
