''Naan Potta Savaal'' () is 1980 Indian Tamil-language Western film directed by Puratchidasan. The film stars Rajinikanth and Reena, with M. R. Radha and M. R. R. Vasu in supporting roles. This is the first film in which the screen credits carried the title "Super Star" for Rajinikanth. It was also the last film of Radha. The film did not do well at the box office. The film was simultaneously shot in Telugu as ''Idhe Naa Savaal''. In Telugu version Rajinikanth, Reena, Pandari Bai, C. L. Anandan, Ceylon Manohar, S. V. Tadepalli Lakshmi Kantha Rao (16 November 1923 – 22 March 2009) was an Indian actor and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Regarded as one of the finest method actors, Rao starred in more than four hundred feature films in a variety of genres including mythological, social and folklore. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Suruli Rajan was a Tamil film comedian/character artiste. He was a recipient of Tamil Nadu State Government's Best Comedian Award for the year 1981–82. Biography Suruli Rajan was born in 1938 in Periyakulam, near Theni. His father ''Ponnaiya Pillai'' worked as an accountant for farm owners of the adjoining areas in Theni.
