Na'amod
Na'amod (Hebrew: נעמוד) is a movement of British Jews seeking to end the British Jewish community's support for the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza Strip. They state their aim as "to work for freedom, equality and justice for all Palestinians and Israelis". Members are active in many parts of the country including London, Bristol, Manchester, Leicester, Leeds and Newcastle. British Jews (often referred to collectively as British Jewry or Anglo-Jewry) are British citizens who identify as Jewish. The number of people who identified as Jews in the United Kingdom rose by just under 4% between 2001 and 2021. Tzipi Hotovely ( he, צִיפִּי חוֹטוֹבֵלִי, born 2 December 1978) is an Israeli diplomat and former politician who serves as the current Ambassador of Israel to the United Kingdom. She served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Minister of Settlement Affairs, and as a member of the Knesset for the Likud party. Hotovely is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Law in Tel Aviv University. She practises Orthodox Judaism, and is a self-described "religious right-winger". The Jewish Socialists' Group (JSG) is a Jewish socialist collective in Britain, formed in the 1970s. History JSG was founded in Manchester/Liverpool in 1974-1977 as a lobby group campaigning against the fascist National Front and for the left to relate more positively to Jewish issues. Jewdas is a Jewish diaspora group based in London. It describes itself as a "radical Jewish diaspora group" and is described by ''The Jewish Chronicle'' as "known for its far-left anti-Zionism". It has a satirical-communal website and stages events in London and elsewhere. Yachad ( he, יחד, "together") is a non-governmental organization based in the United Kingdom. It describes itself as "pro-Israel, pro-peace". Yachad asserts that "Israel's best hope for safety and security lies in a comprehensive peace with its neighbors. That means a two-state solution: Israel and Palestine." According to Yachad, "time is running out and the two-state solution is in peril".
