The Consolidated Model 2 was a PT-1 biplane trainer diverted to the United States Navy for a trainer competition in 1925. A larger vertical tail was added to counter the effect of the floats. The NY-2 had a longer span wing fitted to overcome the high wing-loading issue of the seaplane version. New York's 3rd congressional district is a congressional district for the United States House of Representatives in the State of New York. It is represented by Democrat Tom Suozzi, who has been in office since 2017. In the 2022 election, Republican George Santos was elected to represent the district and is tentatively scheduled to start January 3, 2023. The district includes part of the North Shore of Long Island. It expands across northern Nassau County and into far northeastern Queens.
