NXT The Great American Bash (2024)
The 2024 ''NXT:'' The Great American Bash was a two-part professional wrestling television special produced by WWE. It was the 12th Great American Bash under the WWE banner, the fifth annual produced specifically for its developmental brand NXT, and the 26th Great American Bash event overall. The two-part event took place on July 30 and August 6, 2024, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and aired as special episodes of '' NXT'' on Syfy, due to sister network USA's (''NXT''s regular network) coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics. This in turn returns The Great American Bash to being a television special of ''NXT'', like the events from 2020 to 2022, as the 2023 event aired via WWE's livestreaming platforms, and subsequently the first time since 2020 to air over two weeks. NXT (WWE Brand)
NXT is a WWE brand extension, brand of the American professional wrestling Professional wrestling promotion, promotion WWE that was introduced on February 23, 2010. Brands are divisions of WWE's roster where wrestlers are assigned to perform on a weekly basis when a brand extension is in effect. Wrestlers assigned to NXT primarily appear on the brand's weekly television program, ''WWE NXT, NXT''. The brand serves as a Farm team, developmental territory for WWE's two main brands, Raw (WWE brand), Raw and SmackDown (WWE brand), SmackDown, which are referred to as the main roster. Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Founded by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett in 2002, the promotion was initially known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action (''NWA-TNA'') and was associated with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), though not an official member. The Rascalz
MSK or The Rascalz were an American professional wrestling stable and later, tag team. It was formed by Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed. They began teaming with each other for the first time on the independent circuit in 2015 and competed in various independent promotions. They soon joined a stable called Scarlet and Graves, which primarily competed in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) as well as other independent promotions. In 2018, the stable ended as Xavier and Wentz went on to form a new tag team called The Rascalz. They were soon joined by Myron Reed and Trey Miguel, but Reed soon left the group and the remaining three continued on as a trio, making their debut in Impact Wrestling shortly after. Benjamin Timms (born 23 July 1998) is an English professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the NXT brand under ring name Nathan Frazer. Professional wrestling career Early career (2018–2020) Benjamin Timms was trained by fellow professional wrestlers Seth Rollins and Marek Brave at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy in United States. Carlos Ruíz (born May 9, 1997) is a Spanish professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the NXT brand under the ring name Axiom and is one-half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions with Nathan Frazer in their second reign. WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling women's tag team championship created and promoted by the American promotion WWE. It is the only women's tag team championship for WWE's main roster, thus is defended across both the Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The current champions are Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky), who are in their record-tying second reign as a team. The championship was established on the December 24, 2018, episode of ''Monday Night Raw''. Jamara Garrett (born December 9, 1994) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where she performs under the ring name Jakara Jackson on the NXT brand and is a member of The Meta-Four stable. Meta-Four is a professional wrestling stable that performs in WWE on the NXT brand. The stable is led by Israeli-Scottish Noam Dar and includes Swiss Oro Mensah and Americans Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend. Kayleigh Rae (born 11 August 1992), better known as Kay Lee Ray, is a Scottish professional wrestler. The Unholy Union is a villainous professional wrestling tag team consisting of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. They currently perform for WWE on the Raw brand.
