NXT Battleground (2024)
The 2024 NXT Battleground (marketed as NXT Battleground: Las Vegas), was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It was the second annual Battleground held for the promotion's developmental brand NXT, and the seventh Battleground overall. In partnership with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), WWE's sister company under TKO Group Holdings, the event took place on June 9, 2024, at the UFC Apex in the Las Vegas suburb of Enterprise, Nevada. It was WWE's first event held at the venue and aired via the company's livestreaming platforms. Rapper Sexyy Red hosted the event. Six matches were contested at the event. In the main event, Trick Williams defeated Ethan Page to retain the NXT Championship. Carla Gonzalez (born November 5, 2001) is an American professional wrestler signed to WWE where she performs on the NXT brand under the ring name Roxanne Perez, where she is the current NXT Women's Champion in her first reign. The NXT North American Championship is a professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American promotion WWE. It is primarily defended as the secondary men's championship of the NXT brand division, the promotion's developmental territory. The current champion is Wes Lee, who is in his first reign. Joseph Coffey (born 22 May 1988) is a Scottish professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, performing in NXT.
