NRFL Women's Premiership
The Northern Regional Football League Women's Premiership, currently known as Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Women's Premiership for sponsorship reasons, is a semi-professional New Zealand association football league competition. Up until 2022, the competition was known as NRFL Women's Premier League. The league includes football clubs located in the northern part of the North Island, with clubs from the Northland Region, Northland, Auckland Region, Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty provinces. The league sits at step 2 of the New Zealand football pyramid. Current clubs Fencibles United were promoted as winners of the NRFL Women's Championship. Northern Rovers were relegated to the NRFL Championship after finishing bottom last season. Kohimarama is a coastal residential Auckland suburb, located to the east of the city. Keith Hay Park
Keith Hay Park is a reserve and sports ground in the suburb of Mount Roskill in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the home ground of New Zealand National League and Northern League side Auckland United and the Tri Star Gymnastics Club. Cameron Pools and Leisure Centre is also located at Keith Hay Park. Northern Rovers Football Club is an amateur football club based in Glenfield, New Zealand. Formed in 2020 as an amalgamation between Glenfield Rovers and Forrest Hill-Milford United, Northern Rovers men's team currently competes in the NRFL Championship, while the women's team competes in the NRFL Premiership which is part of the qualifying leagues for the New Zealand Women's National League. The club also competes in both the Chatham and Kate Sheppard Cups, New Zealand's premier knockout tournaments for men and women. Both teams received byes in the 2021 Chatham Cup and 2021 Kate Sheppard Cup for the preliminary and first round, along with other ranked teams. Western Springs AFC is an association football club in Westmere, Auckland. Western Springs AFC is one of New Zealand's largest clubs. Hibiscus Coast A.F.C is an amateur football club based in Stanmore Bay on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, New Zealand. Fencibles United
Fencibles United AFC is an amateur association football club, they currently compete in the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Division 2. The club is based in Howick/Pakuranga, Auckland. The clubs roots go back to Pakuranga Town AFC and Howick AFC. History In 1995, two East Auckland clubs, Pakuranga Town AFC and Howick AFC, amalgamated to form Fencibles United AFC. The adoption of 'Fencibles United AFC' as the name for the club, has recognised the Fencibles as the historic link between the two clubs and identifies with the locality. The Fencibles were the first European settlers in the region. The name 'Fencibles' refers to the Royal New Zealand Fencible Corps. Ellerslie AFC is an association football club based in Ellerslie, New Zealand. The senior team currently competes in the NRFL Championship. Club history Ellerslie AFC’s history goes back to the original founding of the Auckland Football Association in 1887, whereby it was one of the seven clubs to participate in the Association’s inaugural competition. The Club continued into the second season of organised soccer in Auckland, but, like the playing of the game at that time, did not continue past that point.
