NPTC Group
Grŵp Colegau NPTC Group of Colleges is a further education college which was formed following the merger of Neath Port Talbot College and Coleg Powys on 1 August 2013. The college offers a programme of full-time, part-time, and higher education courses across its 8 campuses in Wales. Provision NPTC Group offers a wide range of further education courses including A levels, BTECs and other vocational courses; the college offers higher education and part-time courses, including certificates, diplomas, BSc and BAs. NPTC Group of Colleges is a collaborative partner of the University of South Wales, The University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Wrexham Glyndŵr University, and Pearson. Ashley Beck
Ashley Beck is a Wales international rugby union player. Beck currently played for Merthyr RFC, and has previously played for Worcester Warriors and the Ospreys. He has represented Wales and Wales U20. Club career Beck progressed through the Ospreys academy teams, making his debut for Aberavon RFC in the Welsh Premiership at age 17 in October 2007, scoring a try on that debut. He played 63 times for Aberavon before establishing himself in the Ospreys senior squad. On 13 February 2018, Beck quits Ospreys to join English club Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership ahead of the 2018–19 season. On 5 October 2022 all Worcester players had their contacts terminated due to the liquidation of the company to which they were contracted. Duncan James Jones (born 18 September 1978 in Neath and brought up in Blaengwynfi, Port Talbot) is a former Welsh rugby union player who played at loose head prop for the Ospreys in the Pro12 and has played for Wales. Career First-class career Jones was educated at Cymer Afan Comprehensive School and Neath College. He has represented Wales at every level from Schools up to the national side, including the Grand Slam-winning Under-21 side of 1999. Jones played at both loosehead and tighthead at school level. During the early part of his professional career with Neath he played at tighthead but switched to loosehead in 2001. Justin Tipuric ( ; born 6 August 1989) is a Welsh international rugby union player who plays for Wales as an openside flanker. Early life Tipuric is of Croatian descent. He grew up in Trebanos after initially being born in the village of Alltwen. Club career Tipuric plays for the Ospreys Welsh regional team, having previously played for Aberavon RFC. Dan Lydiate (born 18 December 1987) is a Wales international rugby union player. A flanker, Lydiate was raised in Llandrindod Wells and is a product of the Newport Gwent Dragons academy. Early life The younger of two boys born to English docker John Lydiate at Hope Hospital, their Welsh mother Lynne raised them in Salford, Greater Manchester.
