NK Serdica
Nogometni klub Serdica ( en, Serdica Football Club) or simply NK Serdica is a Slovenian football club from Serdica that competes in the Pomurska League, the fourth level of Slovenian football. Founded in 1974, their club colours are black and white. In June 2023, the club merged with NK Goričanka and started competing under the name Serdica Goričanka. History On 21 April 1974, about 40 people founded a football club in Serdica. The same day, Karel Horvat was elected as the first club president. Serdica made their Slovenian Football Cup debut in the 1994–95 season, when they were defeated at home by NK Mura with the score of 9–1 in front of over 1,000 spectators, which is also the club's highest home attendance. The Slovenian Regional Leagues ( sl, Slovenske regionalne lige) are the fourth tier leagues in the Slovenian football system. They are alternately operated by the participating clubs' Intercommunal Football Associations ( sl, Medobčinske nogometne zveze – MNZ). The winners are promoted to the Slovenian Third League. 2014–15 Slovenian Third League
The season began on 23 August 2014 and ended on 7 June 2015. Format and rules For the 2014–15, the Slovenian Third League, 3. SNL, was divided into four regional groups with a total of 52 participating clubs. Three groups (i.e. North, Center, East) were composed of 14 clubs, while the West group only had 10 clubs that participated in the competition. The winners of the regular season in each group played a promotional two-legged play-offs to decide which two teams would be promoted to the Slovenian Second League. Reserve teams of the top division sides were ineligible to promote to the second division, due to the rules of the Football Association of Slovenia, which stipulate that one club's main squad and their reserve team must be at least two leagues apart in the country's football pyramid. Nogometna šola Mura ( en, Mura Football School), commonly referred to as NŠ Mura or simply Mura, is a Slovenian football team, playing in the town of Murska Sobota.
