Early life and career He was born to a Congolese father, the musician and Congo-Kinshasa political figure Tabu Ley Rochereau and a Senegalese mother. After spending his childhood in Congo-Kinshasa, at the age of 10, he moved to France to live with relatives in Beziers, then Osny, Cergy and Sartrouville. He finished his French baccaleureat at Académie de Versailles with high grades and continued with Cultural Mediation, Communication at Roanne and La Guillotière. Kassimou Djae, better known by his stage name Alonzo, is a French rapper and singer who is signed to Def Jam France. Sérigne M'Baye Gueye (; born 28 March 1978), better known by his stage name Disiz, (pronounced "This is", formerly Disiz la Peste and Disiz Peter Punk), is a French rapper and actor. Born to a Senegalese father and Belgian mother, he grew up listening to hip hop. He was a great fan of the French rap groups NTM and IAM. Gaëlino M'Bani better known by his stage name Lino is a French rapper. He was a member of the French rap duo Ärsenik with his brother Calboni M'Bani known as Calbo in the duo. Médine Zaouiche (; born 24 February 1983 in Le Havre), better known by his stage name Médine, is a French rapper of Algerian descent. He has been a part of the hip hop collective La Boussole since 1996. Médine is a practicing Muslim, and many of his lyrics deal with the hardships of migrants, oppressed individuals, and Muslims in the Western world.
