NE 82nd Ave MAX Station
The Northeast 82nd Avenue station is a light rail station on the MAX Blue, Green and Red Lines in Portland, Oregon. It is the 13th stop eastbound on the eastside MAX. It serves the neighborhoods of Rose City Park, Roseway, Madison South, Montavilla and Mount Tabor. The station is at the intersection of Northeast 82nd Avenue and Interstate 84. This station is connected to 82nd Avenue by a stairway and one elevator. Access to the station is from the east side of the 82nd Avenue overpass. MAX Light Rail
The Metropolitan Area Express (MAX) is a light rail system serving the Portland metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Oregon. Owned and operated by TriMet, it consists of five color-designated lines that altogether connect the six sections of Portland; the communities of Beaverton, Clackamas, Gresham, Hillsboro, Milwaukie, and Oak Grove; and Portland International Airport to Portland City Center. Service runs seven days a week with headways of between 30 minutes off-peak and three minutes during rush hours. In 2019, MAX had an average daily ridership of 120,900, or 38.8 million annually. 82nd Avenue of the Roses (simply 82nd Avenue prior to 2005) is a street in Portland, Oregon, and comprises the northern end of Oregon Route 213, also known as the Cascade Highway. It is one of the longest streets in Portland, running down the entire east side of the city, and extending into suburbs to the south. The street runs from Airport Way Frontage Rd in Northeast Portland, south through Clackamas and Happy Valley, to Interstate 205 in Gladstone. Oregon 213 continues south beyond I-205. Mount Tabor is the name of a volcanic cinder cone, the city park on the volcano, and the neighborhood of Southeast Portland that surrounds it, all in the U.S. state of Oregon. Montavilla (a syllabic abbreviation of "Mt. Tabor Village) is a neighborhood in the Northeast and Southeast sections of Portland, Oregon, United States, and contains an area east of Mount Tabor and west of Interstate 205, from the Banfield to SE Division. Rose City Park is a neighborhood (and a park of the same name) in Northeast Portland, Oregon. It borders Beaumont-Wilshire, Grant Park, and the Hollywood District on the west (at NE 47th Avenue), Cully on the north (at NE Fremont Street), Roseway and Madison South on the east (at NE 65th Avenue), and Center on the south (at the Banfield Expressway and MAX transit line). MAX Red Line
The MAX Red Line is a light rail service in Portland, Oregon, United States, operated by TriMet as part of the MAX Light Rail system. An airport rail link, it runs from central Beaverton to Portland International Airport via Northeast Portland and Portland City Center.
