NEC Avenue
was a Japanese music and video game publisher. History NEC Avenue was founded in 1987 as a record label within NEC. NEC Avenue eventually got involved with video games, and secured licenses to produce console versions of arcade titles from Sega and Taito. Toshio Tabeta, the employee responsible for the Sega deal, would later learn that the Sega employee that gave NEC Avenue permission to make arcade ports was scolded. Video game records represented about 10% of NEC Avenue's business in 1994. In October 1995, its game division was spun-off into a new NEC subsidiary named Interchannel, NEC Interchannel. NEC Interchannel took over NEC Avenue's music and game operations in October 1997, then acquired its music subsidiary, , in March 1998. NEC Avenue was dissolved on January 29, 1999, and NEC Avenue Music Publishing became IC Avenue Music Publishing after Interchannel split from NEC in 2004. Nobukazu Takemura
Nobukazu Takemura (竹村延和 ''Takemura Nobukazu'') is a Japanese musician and artist. Born in Hirakata, Osaka in August 1968, he became interested in music at a young age by listening to the radio, and began to make music at home with a tape recorder and keyboard. During high school, after a record store job that exposed him to jazz and hip-hop, he had regular gigs in the clubs of Osaka and Kyoto as a battle DJ before launching his music career. Takemura's music career has seen him cover a wide range of genres and styles within short periods of time. Beginning his career in hip-hop and jazz, Takemura later entered into a prolific period as an electronic musician, exploring genres such as glitch, drum and bass and minimalism. is an Arcade video game, arcade vehicular combat game developed and released by Sega in 1987. The player assumes control of an American Grumman F-14 Tomcat, F-14 Tomcat fighter jet, and must clear each of the game's eighteen unique stages by destroying incoming enemies, using both a machine gun and a limited supply of heat-seeking missiles. It also had a PC Engine port released exclusively in Japan on August 25, 1989. Gameplay Players start off in Formula 3000 (F3000) needing enough points (12) to progress to Formula One (F1) using either a non-turbo or turbo powered car. is an arcade video game by Capcom released in July 1984. It is loosely based on the Chinese novel ''Journey to the West''. The player assumes the role of a monkey boy (who is patterned after Sun Wukong from the story) and fights their way from one side to another, eventually reaching the statue of Buddha.
