N31 (Long Island Bus)
The following bus routes are operated in Nassau County, New York. Most of these routes are operated under Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE), formerly MTA Long Island Bus, except in Greater Long Beach, where that city operates its own bus service through Long Beach Bus. Some of them are the direct descendants of streetcar lines (see List of streetcar lines on Long Island and in Queens), and most were previously privately operated prior to 1973. These routes are designated on the buses, bus stop signs, and timetables with a lowercase "n". Previously, the routes were designated with an uppercase "N", akin to routes in bus systems surrounding the area. Note that the buses purchased secondhand from Foothill Transit still display the uppercase "N" on their signs. This table gives details for the routes that service Nassau County primarily. For details on routes that run into Nassau County but do not service it primarily, see: *List of bus routes in Queens: Q2, Q5, Q36, Q46, Q85, Q110, ...

London Buses Route N31
The London Night Bus network is a series of night bus routes that serve Greater London. Services broadly operate between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00. Many services commence from or operate via Trafalgar Square and are extensions or variations of daytime routes and hence derive their number from these; for example, route N73 Oxford Circus to Walthamstow follows that of route 73 as far as Stoke Newington, before continuing further north. History The first night bus was introduced in 1913. By 1920 there were two 'All Night Bus Services' in operation named the 94 and 94a running from 23:30 to 05:30. A few more services were introduced over the following decades, but all ceased during World War II. Services resumed after the war, increasing as trams and trolleybuses were replaced in the late 1950s and 1960s. In 1978 London Transport listed 21 all-night bus routes. On many of these routes, "all-night" service meant a departure frequency of no more than one bus an hour. In April 198 ...

List Of National Roads In Belgium
The national roads of Belgium are roads that cover the whole of the country; some of the roads are provincial and communal. The use of the national roads is free; they are open to all vehicles, but some are for cars only. Since the second state reform in 1980, the networks of national roads have been managed by the federal regions, depending on the region in which they are located. In general the road names are linked to the surrounding areas; most of these are linked to historical references. For example, the N3 around Liège is known as the "Road to Brussels" in the west of the city and the "Road to Fléron" in the east of the city. Another example is around Brussels, where the N2 is known as the "Road to Leuven" ("Chaussée de Louvain" in French, "Leuvensesteenweg" in Dutch). The numbering of the roads is grouped into four networks of roads: * The roads N1 to N9 are large connections, starting from Brussels to the borders of the country in each direction. These roads are num ...

N31 Road (Ireland)
The N31 road is a national primary road in Ireland. It connects the harbour at Dún Laoghaire southeast of Dublin to the national route network. Both the N11 (Dublin – Wexford) and Dublin's M50 C-ring motorway connect to the N31. Route With the completion of the ''Southeastern Motorway'' section of the M50 in 2005, the N31 was extended to connect to it. Since 2006, the N31 begins at J14 on the M50. ''Leopardstown Road'' and ''Brewery Road'' bring the N31 northeast to join the N11 ''Stillorgan Road'' southeast of Stillorgan. The route diverges from the N11 again further north as ''Mount Merrion Avenue'', bringing the N31 east to the sea front. From here, the N31 passes through Blackrock via ''Frescati Road''/''Blackrock By Pass''; (see thumbnail) alongside Monkstown via ''Temple Road'', ''Newtown Avenue'' and ''Seapoint Avenue''; and to Dún Laoghaire via ''Dunleary Road'' and ''Crofton Road''. Upgrades The route was revised in 2005 to include a new section between ...
