Bavdhan is a suburb located along the Western Metropolitan Corridor of Pune, India. Just off the Mumbai-Bangalore national highway, Bavdhan serves as the outlet for Mumbai-Pune expressway. Central Bavdhan, consisting of Chandani Chowk, is bordered by Pashan on the North, Bhugaon village on the West, NDA reserved forest area on the South and Kothrud on its Eastbound Exit. The Republican Party of India (RPI, often called the Republican Party or simply Republican) is a political party in India. It has its roots in the Scheduled Castes Federation led by B. R. Ambedkar. The Rajya Sabha (meaning the "Council of States") is the upper house of the Parliament of India. Maharashtra elects 19 seats and they are indirectly elected by the state legislators of Maharashtra. Earlier since 1952, Bombay State elects 17 seats, Madhya Pradesh State elects 12 seats, Hyderabad State 11 seats and Mysore State elect 6 seats. After Constitution (Seventh Amendment) Act of 1956, Bombay State elects 27 seats.
