N. Leelakrishnan
Narayanaswamy "N." Leelakrishnan, also known as Leela in Indian motorsport circles, is a six-time Indian National Rally Championship Champion and one time Indian Formula 3 champion from Coimbatore, India. He is also a Rallying, rally and Auto racing, race car tuner and is currently the Chief Technical Director of Red Rooster Racing. His rally tuned cars have won 15 National Championship titlesdriven by himself, V. R. Naren Kumar and Vikram Mathiaswinning the tuners trophy several times. Now he owns his own team, arka motorsports, Coimbatore. He runs the factory teams for Mahindra and Toyota. Early career N. Leelakrishnan was born in Coimbatore and did his education in Coimbatore. Indian National Rally Championship
Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) is a rallying series organised by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), which is the Governing Body or ASN of India recognised by FIA culminating with National Champion Driver and Co-Driver. The driver and co-drivers's championship are based on a point system. The championship first received its National Championship Title status in 1988. Red Rooster Racing
Red Rooster Racing is an Indian Motorsports team which took part in rallying and racing events for three years from 2008 to 2010. Its parent company Red Rooster Performance's goal is to build the market for performance motoring in India. Quoting lack of sponsors, the team withdrew from the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) before the start of the 2011 season. Of the three years in rallying, Red Rooster Racing' won the championship twice in 2008 and 2010. Formula Rolon, also known as Formula Rolon Chevrolet and later Formula Rolon 2010 is an open wheel single seater Formula Racing car made and raced in India. They run in the single make championships held in the tracks of Coimbatore and Chennai.
