Mürtüz Yolcu
Mürtüz Yolcu (born 1961 in Iğdır, Turkey) is a German-Turkish actor and theatre festival founder. Yolcu founded the Diyalog TheaterFest and has been the artistic director of the festival ever since. From 1979 to 1984, he belonged to the Turkish Ensemble of Berlin actors. He then played at the Tiyatrom Theater in Berlin and at the Turkish language family theater in Berlin. He also had engagements at the Schauburg in Munich and the Ballhaus Naunynstrasse as well as the Munich Kammerspiele. In addition, the Turkish native played a series of roles in film and television, most recently "Salih" in ' (2009). The actor played "Cengiz Korkmaz" also in '' Korkmazlar'' (1988), which was distributed on tape, but also played several times on German television. Iğdır
Iğdır ( Turkish ; ku, Îdir or ; hy, Իգդիր, Igdir, also ) is the capital of Iğdır Province in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. History Iğdır went by the Armenian name of Tsolakert during the Middle Ages. s.v. "Igdir," Armenian Soviet Encyclopedia, 1978, vol. 4, p. 309. When the Spanish traveler Ruy González de Clavijo passed through this region in the early 15th century, he stayed a night in a castle he called Egida, located at the foot of Mount Ararat. Clavijo describes it as being built upon a rock and ruled by a woman, the widow of a brigand that Timurlane had put to death. Because modern Iğdır has no such rock, and is a considerable distance from the Ararat foothills, it is believed that medieval Iğdır was located at a different site, at a place also known as Tsolakert, now called Taşburun. The Munich Kammerspiele (German: Münchner Kammerspiele) is a state-funded German-language theater company based at the ''Schauspielhaus'' on Maximilianstrasse in the Bavarian capital. The company currently has three venues: the main stage of the theatre with two small stages, the workroom on Hildegardstrasse, and the Therese-Giehse-Halle in the rehearsal building on Falckenbergstrasse. The series shows the daily life of a Turkish family in Germany and focuses on their problems which arise in part from an inadequate command of German language and its relation to Turkish and German neighbors. ''Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten'' ("Good Times, Bad Times"), often abbreviated ''GZSZ'', is a long-running German television soap opera, first broadcast on RTL in 1992. The programme concerns the lives of a fictional neighborhood in Germany's capital city Berlin. Over the years the soap opera tends to have an overhaul of young people in their late teens and early twenties, targeting a young viewership. Based on the Australian format ''The Restless Years'', which first was successfully adapted in the Netherlands as ''Goede tijden, slechte tijden'', the German version took the scripts of the first 230 episodes, even though heavily rewritten, from the original.
