Mário Filho
Mário Rodrigues Filho, better known as Mário Filho (Recife, June 3, 1908 – Rio de Janeiro, September 17, 1966) was a Brazilian journalist and writer. Born in the capital of Pernambuco state, Mário Filho moved to Rio while still a child, in 1916. His father, Mário Rodrigues, owned the newspaper "A Manhã" ("The Morning"). The younger Mário began at his father's paper in 1926 as a sports reporter, pursuing a relatively undeveloped form of journalism. Life Mário Filho, the son of Mário Rodrigues a journalist of the local daily Diário de Pernambuco, was born in the capital of Northeast Brazilian State of Pernambuco Recife in 1908. Leônidas
Leônidas da Silva (; 6 September 1913 – 24 January 2004) was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a forward. He is regarded as one of the most important players of the first half of the 20th century. Leônidas played for Brazil national team in the 1934 and 1938 World Cups, and was the top scorer of the latter tournament. He was known as the "Black Diamond" and the "Rubber Man" due to his agility. Club career Leônidas started his career at São Cristóvão. He then played for Carioca side Sírio e Libanez, where he was coached by Gentil Cardoso. Nelson Falcão Rodrigues (August 23, 1912 – December 21, 1980) was a Brazilian playwright, journalist and novelist. In 1943, he helped usher in a new era in Brazilian theater with his play ''Vestido de Noiva (The Wedding Dress)'', considered revolutionary for the complex exploration of its characters' psychology and its use of colloquial dialogue. He went on to write many other seminal plays and today is widely regarded as Brazil's greatest playwright. Copacabana () is a ''bairro'' (neighbourhood) located in the South Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is most prominently known for its 4 km (2.5 miles) balneario beach, which is one of the most famous in the world. Arthur Friedenreich (18 July 1892 – 6 September 1969) was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a forward. He was nicknamed ''The Tiger'' or ''The Original "Black" Pearl'', and was arguably the sport's first outstanding mixed-race player.
