Myron Sifakis
Myron Sifakis ( el, Μύρων Σηφάκης; born 28 September 1960) is a Greek retired goalkeeper and current football manager. Career Playing career Sifakis began his football career at his local side Atsalenios. He was then transferred to Heraklion's Alpha Ethniki side OFI, where he spent 7 years during the club's "golden age". Despite being used mostly as the third-choice goalkeeper, behind Georgios Mitseas and Vangelis Chosadas, Sifakis rose up to the occasion when he was called-up by coach Eugène Gerards to defend OFI's goal during the 1986–87 Greek Cup Final, in which he warded off two shots during the penalty shootout, for which his club claimed their first ever major trophy. After leaving OFI in 1992, Sifakis moved to fellow Alpha Ethniki side Pierikos, where he suffered relegation at the end of the season. Zaros
Zaros ( el, Ζαρός) is a village and a former municipality in the Heraklion regional unit, Crete, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Faistos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of . Population 2,953 (2011). Zaros village, at an altitude of 340 metres, is a village with a lake and gorge nearby. The village has a couple of hotels and it is 44 km from Heraklion at the southern foothills of Mount Psiloritis. The population produce olive oil, sultanas, vegetables and spring water. There are a couple of tavernas that serve trout. Close by is Rouvas Gorge, which is part of the Psiloritis mountain range and is on the hiking route known as the E4 European Walking Path. Nikodimos Papavasiliou
Nikodimos "Nikki" Papavasiliou ( el, Νικόδημος Παπαβασιλείου; born 31 August 1970) is a Cypriot football manager and former international midfielder. He is currently the manager of National Bank of Egypt in the Egyptian Premier League. Aside from playing and managing, Papavasiliou's background includes scouting and Academy management. He was the first Cypriot to play in the FA Premier League. Levadiakos Football Club ( el, ΠΑΕ Λεβαδειακός) is a Greek professional football club that plays in the Super League Greece. Based in Livadeia, Greece, the club was promoted to the Alpha Ethniki, forerunner of the Super League, after ten seasons in minor divisions in the 2005–06 season, as runner-up of the Football League in 2004–05. It was then relegated to the Beta Ethniki again in 2006–07 and returned to the top tier in 2007–08. The 2005–06 Alpha Ethniki was the 70th season of the highest football league of Greece and the last season under the name ''Alpha Ethniki'', before then was renamed to ''Super League Greece''. The season began on 27 August 2005 and ended on 13 May 2006. Olympiacos won their second consecutive and 34th Greek title. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. Pavlos Dermitzakis ( gr, Παύλος Δερμιτζάκης; born 29 June 1969) is a Greek professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of Super League 2 club Panserraikos. Playing career Dermitzakis began his football career in Kavala, playing for amateur local side Vyron Kavala. In 1987, he was acquired by the city's most prestigious club Kavala, where he played for five years in both the second and third tiers of the Greek football league system and scoring a total of 47 goals.
