Myklebost, Sandøy
Myklebost or Myklebust is a village on the southern end of the island of Harøya in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is about south of the municipal center of Steinshamn. There are ferry connections from Myklebost to Fjørtofta and Brattvåg in Haram Municipality and to Dryna in Midsund Municipality. The Myklebost area was a part of Haram Municipality until 1965. Harøy Church is located about north of the village. The long Fjørtoftfjord Tunnel is being constructed from Myklebost on Harøya island under the Fjørtoftfjorden to the nearby island of Fjørtofta Fjørtofta is an island in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Møre Og Romsdal
Møre og Romsdal (; en, Møre and Romsdal) is a county in the northernmost part of Western Norway. It borders the counties of Trøndelag, Innlandet, and Vestland. Nordøyvegen
Nordøyvegen () is a road that connect the northern islands of Ålesund (formerly in Haram Municipality and Sandøy Municipality) to the mainland in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. This road was opened in 2022 and replaced several ferry crossings and costed around . It provides a faster, ferry-free connection to the mainland for the approximately 3,000 residents of the islands. The road is partly financed by a toll station at the Lepsøy, as of 2022 costing 219 NOK per direction for cars. The project includes crossing four fjords with tunnels and bridges and upgrading and re-routing roads on the islands to meet national standards. A total of seven islands is connected to the mainland using two existing bridges and by building three new bridges, a causeway using fill, and three undersea tunnels. Harøy Church
Harøy Church ( no, Harøy kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the central part of the island of Harøya, just north of the Lomstjønna Nature Reserve. It is one of the two churches for the Sandøy parish which is part of the Nordre Sunnmøre prosti ( deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1934 using plans drawn up by the architects Fredrik Ziegler Kavli and Paul S. Michelsen. The church seats about 340 people. Midsund is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It was part of the Romsdal region. The administrative centre was the village of Midsund on Otrøya island. Dryna
Dryna is an island in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is the westernmost of the main islands in the municipality. The island sits between the Harøyfjorden and the Midfjorden, at the entrance to the great Romsdalsfjorden. Until 1965, Dryna was part of Haram Municipality. Dryna has a road connection to the neighboring island of Midøya to the east. Fjørtofta
Fjørtofta is an island in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located in the northern part of the municipality, between the islands of Flemsøya, Harøya, and Midøya and Dryna (both in Molde Municipality). Fjørtofta is a fairly flat island and the highest point is the tall ''Æafjellet''. Agriculture and fishing are the main industries on the island. Fjørtoft Church is located on the northern part of the island. In 2015, there were 136 residents of the island. The island has ferry connections to the village of Brattvåg (on the mainland) and to the village of Myklebost (on Harøya island).
