Myer Lyon (, Germany – 1797, Kingston, Jamaica), better known by his stage name Michael Leoni, was a hazzan at the Great Synagogue of London who achieved fame as a tenor opera singer in London and Dublin, and as the mentor of the singer John Braham. ''Deadly Towers'' is an action role-playing game co-developed by Lenar and Tamtex for Irem as a software title for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was released in Japan on December 15, 1986, and in North America in September of the following year. In Japan, ''Deadly Towers'' was titled ''Mashō'' (魔鐘), literally meaning "Evil Bell". Myer E. Rosenblum OAM (10 January 1907 – 18 April 2002) was an Australian sportsman and lawyer. He was born in South Africa to parents who had migrated from present-day Belarus. His family moved to Sydney, Australia in 1914, and he was educated at Fort Street High School and Sydney University. He played four Test matches for the Australian Rugby Union team in 1928. He set up a law firm, "M. Rosenblum and Co" in the 1930s; in 1959 he employed as an articled clerk John Howard who later became an Australian prime minister. Myer Horowitz (December 27, 1932 – October 24, 2022) was a Canadian academic who served as the ninth president of the University of Alberta from 1979 to 1989. Early life and education Horowitz was born in Montreal, Quebec on December 27, 1932. He attended the School for Teachers at McGill University and received his BA at Sir George Williams College in 1956. He earned a Master of Education from the University of Alberta in 1959 and a Doctor of Education from Stanford University in 1965. Charles Solomon "Buddy" Myer (March 16, 1904 – October 31, 1974) was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as a second baseman from through . Biography Galpern was born Meyer Galpern in the Gorbals, the son of Morris Galpern, a cabinetmaker, and Anna Talisman. His parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia.
