My Ruin
My Ruin is an American alternative metal band from Los Angeles, California, composed of the husband and wife duo Tairrie B and Mick Murphy (guitarist), Mick Murphy. The band has been through various line-up changes since its formation in 1999. The band's sound consists of passionate vocals and heavy rock beats, with most of the fanbase in the UK. Vocalist Tairrie B Murphy has cultivated a reputation both on and off the stage for her aggressive performances and acerbic vocal style. Over the decade since the band's formation, the sound has evolved and become heavier with each record, with Mick Murphy's guitar playing becoming a prominent feature along with his solos and riffs. My Ruin are a "Do it yourself, DIY" band who have control over every aspect of their output. In the past they have released several of their records via their own imprint, Rovena Recordings. Grady Avenell
Grady Avenell (born December 25, 1972) is an American musician. He is the singer for hardcore-metal band Will Haven. Avenell was born in California. He is notable for his intense vocal style, consisting mainly of screaming. He formed Will Haven in 1995 with members of the band Sock, releasing three albums ('' El Diablo'', '' WHVN'' and the acclaimed '' Carpe Diem'') before leaving the band in 2002, wishing to look after his family and attend college. He returned to the group in 2005, although missed some shows in Glasgow and Newport in January 2006, with his position filled by various artists such as Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro, Craig B of Aereogramme and Mikey Demus of Skindred. Rico Villasenor
Rico Villasenor is an American musician and the former bassist for Downset (band), Downset. Villasenor also played in the side projects Drunk with Power and Demean with guitarist Brian "Ares" Schwager. On an extended 8 weeks all over European Tour in 2004 Rico and Ares teamed up playing 2 sets every night, with Downset and supporting themselves with their band Demean. There were no day off's, only one Demean gig had to be cancelled for health reasons concerning Ares. This was a safety measure to make sure the Downset headline show and further shows could be played.
