My Kitchen Rules (series 5)
The fifth season of the Australian competitive cooking competition show ''My Kitchen Rules'' premiered on the Seven Network on 27 January 2014. Format changes *The Food Truck — From the Top 12 to Top 9 rounds, teams were divided into two groups, cooking in a restaurant-like environment. Members of the public were served the dishes and paid for what they believed the meal was worth. The group that made the most money won the challenge whilst the losing group had to compete in a following cook-off to avoid elimination. The truck was run by chef, Colin Fassnidge. *The Jury — From the Top 12 to Top 9 cook-off rounds, a jury was present and were able to save/send one of the competing teams to/from elimination. Semi-Finals
A single-elimination, knockout, or sudden death tournament is a type of elimination tournament where the loser of each match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament. Australian Centre For Contemporary Art
The Australian Centre For Contemporary Art (ACCA) is a contemporary art gallery in Melbourne, Australia. The gallery is located on Sturt Street in the Melbourne Arts Precinct, in the inner suburb of Southbank. Designed by Wood Marsh Architects, the building was completed in 2002, and includes facilities for Chunky Move dance company and the Malthouse Theatre. Max Delany has been Artistic Director and CEO of the centre since 2015. History The centre was established in 1983, and moved into its current home in 2002. Bankstown
Bankstown is a suburb south west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Guy Grossi
Guy Grossi (born 13 May 1965) is an Italian-Australian chef and media personality. He owns several restaurants in Melbourne. In 1996, Grossi was awarded the ''L'insegna Del Ristorante Italiano'' by the president of Italy, for his dedication to presenting and promoting "La Cucina Italiana" and lifestyle. Karen Martini
Karen Martini (born 20 September 1971) is an Australian chef, restaurateur, writer and television presenter. Early life Martini was born in Greensborough, Victoria and is now living in Melbourne who began cooking at a young age. North Cronulla Beach or ''North Cronulla'' is a patrolled beach on Bate Bay, in Cronulla, New South Wales, Australia. ''The Wall'' is the local name given to the area between North Cronulla Beach and Elouera. ''The Alley'' is the local name given to the permanent rip current located at the southern end of North Cronulla Beach. North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club The North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club was established by a group of local residents who were concerned about the safety of visitors to the beach. Gözleme
Gözleme is a savory Turkish stuffed turnover. The dough is usually unleavened, and made only with flour, salt and water, but gözleme can be made from yeast dough as well. It is similar to bazlama, but is lightly brushed with butter or oil, whereas bazlama is prepared without fat. Congee or conjee ( ) is a type of rice porridge or gruel eaten in Asian countries.
