MyRapid Card
The My Rapid Touch 'n Go is a contactless smart card used for the payment of public transportation fares of Rapid KL services in Malaysia, with limited use in the parking payments for Rapid KL Park N Ride facilities. Introduced in July 2011, it is extended to LRT Sri Petaling Line and LRT Kelana Jaya Line in November 2011 as well as Monorail Line in February 2012. Rapid Kuantan buses in Pahang adopted the MyRapid card in 2015. Abolition The My Rapid card was initially planned to be also accepted on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line once the Semantan-Kajang stretch opens. According to an announcement by Prasarana, the My Rapid card will instead be phased out and replaced with the co-branded My Rapid Touch 'n Go cards beginning 15 June 2017. Touch 'n Go
The Touch 'n Go smart card is used by Malaysian toll expressway and highway operators as the sole electronic payment system (EPS). The credit card-sized smart card is made of plastic with Philips' MIFARE Classic microchip technology embedded in it. It is a one company monopoly system that you must use this card as long as you need to pass through the highway, take public transportation, etc in Malaysia. The card has an expiry date and inactive period. Check carefully as the Inactive card of not using for more than 12 months, cannot be reactivated. The Touch 'n Go systems are designed to process up to 800 vehicles per hour to ease the queue congestion at toll plazas and if used together with SmartTAG (a non-stop electronic toll collection system), will be able to process up to 1,200 vehicles per hour. KL Monorail
The KL Monorail Line is one of the operational monorail systems in Malaysia. Operated as part of the RapidKL system by Rapid Rail, a subsidiary of Prasarana Malaysia, it is one of the components of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. Semantan Station
The Semantan MRT Station or Manulife-Semantan for sponsorship reasons, is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station that serves the suburb of Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is one of the stations on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 when Phase One of the line became operational.
