''Mutazione'' is a 2019 adventure exploration video game created by developer Die Gute Fabrik, and published by Akupara Games. It launched for Windows, MacOS, PlayStation 4, and on iOS through Apple Arcade on September 19, 2019. It released on the Atari VCS on December 11, 2020. It released on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on May 26, 2021. The game is set on an island where the player tends to the local gardens and learns more about the town's people. Gameplay ''Mutazione'' is an adventure game, where the player walks around the different areas and interacts with the environment. The player plays as Kai, who goes to the island one summer in order to see her dying grandfather who lives there. The game takes place over different days, each with unique events. Die Gute Fabrik is an independent game developer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Seumas McNally Grand Prize
The Seumas McNally Grand Prize is the main award given at the Independent Games Festival (IGF), an annual event that takes place during the Game Developers Conference, one of the largest gatherings of the indie video game industry. The award is named after computer game programmer Seumas McNally (1979–2000), founder of independent game development company Longbow Digital Arts. McNally died of Hodgkin's lymphoma shortly after receiving the award, then just the IGF Grand Prize, in 2000 for his game '' Tread Marks''. The award is given alongside a prize of US$30,000. Twenty-six video games have received the award, and more than 50 have been selected as finalists.
