Musique De L'Arme Blindée Cavalerie
The Musique de l'Arme Blindée Cavalerie (M-ABC) ( en, Cavalry and Armored Branch Band) is a military band of the French Army's Armored Branch. It is stationed in Montigny-lès-Metz. It is under the immediate command of the Army Music Command, of which it is one of six bands. It is under the operational command of the 4th Hussar Regiment. It has taken part in events such as the Saumur International Festival of Military Bands and the Spasskaya Tower Military Music Festival and Tattoo. In the latter performance in Moscow, it performed with the Fanfare de l'Ecole d'Application de l'Artillerie and singer Mireille Mathieu. It has also performed in other countries like China, Turkey, and Hungary. It has 40 musicians that consist of a large wind band and various small ensembles (wind quintets, brass, saxophone quartets, clarinets). Band Of The Royal Armoured Corps
The Band of the Royal Armoured Corps is a marching band of the Royal Corps of Army Music within the British Army. Although one of the newest bands their traditions go back can be traced to before 1939. Following the 2020 reorganisation of the RCAMUS, the band was disbanded, forming an element of the new British Army Band Catterick. History The current band was formed in 2014 when the two former bands of the corps were merged. Those two bands being the Light Cavalry Band and the Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band. From 22 to 24 June 2014 the band participated in a small tour through Austria, Germany, and finally The Kingdom of the Netherlands. The King's Own Calgary Regiment Band
The King's Own Calgary Regiment Band is the regimental band of The King's Own Calgary Regiment based at Mewata Armouries in Calgary, Alberta. It is currently one of two Primary Reserve bands in 41 Canadian Brigade Group and is the ''de facto'' military bands for the southern Alberta area. 1st Cavalry Division Band
The 1st Cavalry Division Band is a military band posted at Fort Hood, Texas and assigned to the headquarters of the United States Army's 1st Cavalry Division. It was activated in 1945. History On 3 March 1855, the 1st Cavalry Band was established in the Second Regiment of Cavalry. In March 1861, the band left their post in Fort Mason, which was transferred to the control of the Confederate Army. It would be based in the union states, specifically Pennsylvania, for a good part of the American Civil War.
