''Muses Diary'' is the debut single album recorded by South Korean girl group Nine Muses A, a sub-group from girl group Nine Muses. The single album was released as a digital download on August 4, 2016, by Star Empire Entertainment and distributed by KT Music, and as a physical album on August 8. The title track is "Lip 2 Lip" and was written and composed by Jung Changwook. The single has two B-sides, "Shh!" and "Monster". Background On July 20, 2016 Star Empire announced through a video teaser the upcoming debut of Nine Muses first four-member unit group called Nine Muses' A, setting the release for August 4 at noon KST with no specific details. On July 21 it was revealed that the title track will be called "Lip 2 Lip" and members Kyungri, Hyemi, Sojin and Keumjo will be part of the group. Nine Muses A ( ko, 나인뮤지스A, stylized in all caps or 9MUSES AMUSE) is the first sub-group of South Korean girl group Nine Muses formed by Star Empire Entertainment in 2016. It is composed of four Nine Muses members: Gyeongree, Hyemi, Sojin and Keumjo. The group released their debut single album ''Muses Diary'' on August 4, 2016. Nine Muses ( ko, 나인뮤지스, often stylized as 9Muses) was a South Korean girl group formed by Star Empire Entertainment in 2010 with an admission and graduation concept. The group consists of total of fourteen former members: Jaekyung, Bini, Rana, Lee Sem, Sera, Eunji, Euaerin, Minha, Hyuna, Sungah, Gyeongree, Hyemi, Sojin, and Keumjo. Following an unsuccessful debut with the single "No Playboy," the group's line-up changed with the release of the comeback single, "Figaro", which reached the Top 100 Billboard Charts. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms.
