Murad Alyan
Murad Alyan ( ar, مراد عليان, he, מוראד עליאן; born December 7, 1977) Is a ex Palestinian professional football (soccer), football player. Career Alyan grew up in Jerusalem as an Arab citizen of Israel. He joined Hapoel Jerusalem's youth set-up in 1986 as a nine-year-old after spending time with his neighborhood side Beit Safafa. While at Hapoel Jerusalem, Alyan was leading scorer at almost every youth level. He signed his first contract with Beitar Ironi Maale Adumim in 2002 scoring 18 goals, making him the team's leading scorer. In the 2003–04 season, Alyan joined Bnei Lod and helped them win Liga Bet by scoring 24 goals, a team high. The next season, he joined Ironi Ness Ziona (later renamed Sektzia Ness Ziona) and helped them win promotion to Liga Alef by scoring 28 goals. Jerusalem (; he, יְרוּשָׁלַיִם ; ar, القُدس ) (combining the Biblical and common usage Arabic names); grc, Ἱερουσαλήμ/Ἰεροσόλυμα, Hierousalḗm/Hierosóluma; hy, Երուսաղեմ, Erusałēm. is a city in Western Asia. Liga Alef
Liga Alef ( he, ליגה א', , League A) is the third tier of the Israeli football league system. It is divided into two regional divisions, north and south. History League football began in Israel in 1949–50, a year after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. However, the financial and security crises gripping the young nation caused the 1950–51 season to be abandoned before it had started. When football resumed in 1951–52, the new top division went by the name of Liga Alef. The 1952–53 season was also not played, and Liga Alef resumed in 1953–54. In the 1955–56 season, Liga Leumit came into existence as the new top division, with Liga Alef becoming the second division. In the summer of 1976, restructuring saw the creation of Liga Artzit as a new second tier, and the second demotion of Liga Alef, as it became the third division. 2012 AFC Challenge Cup Qualification
The 2012 AFC Challenge Cup qualification phase saw eight teams advance to the final tournament in Nepal. The qualification draw was held on 20 October 2010, in AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Seeding The seedings are based on the 2010 AFC Challenge Cup. Unlike previous editions with the exception of the inaugural edition, no team has been given direct entry into the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup. Defending champions Korea DPR, runners-up Turkmenistan and third-placed Tajikistan would now have to go through the qualifiers to enter the finals. The eight lowest ranked teams would take part in the playoff round while the remaining 12 teams would enter the Group Stage.
