Munsu Funfair
The Munsu Funfair ( ko, 문수유희장) was an amusement park located in Pyongyang, North Korea. Opened in 1984, the park was located near the Chongryu Bridge, and was across the Taedong River from the Rungnado May Day Stadium. It was renovated and renamed into Munsu Water Park in 2013. The Taedong River (Chosŏn'gŭl: ) is a large river in North Korea. Rungnado May Day Stadium
The Rungrado 1st of May Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium occupying an area of on Rungra Island, Pyongyang, North Korea. It opened on 1 May 1989, with its first major event being the 13th World Festival of Youth and Students. It is the second largest stadium in the world by seating capacity (after India's Narendra Modi Stadium), considering the re-estimated number of seats in 2014, and the second largest stadium in the world considering its official seating capacity. Munsu Water Park ( ko, 문수물놀이장) is a state run water park located in the east of Pyongyang, North Korea, which opened to the public in November 2013. The park covers an area of with indoor and outdoor activities available all year round. Completion ceremony The park's completion ceremony took place on 15October 2013 and involved the chiefs of the armed forces along with top government officials.
