Munishwar Nath Bhandari
Munishwar Nath Bhandari (born on 13 September 1960) is an Indian Judge. He is former Chief Justice of Madras High Court. He has also served as Acting Chief Justice of Madras High Court and Allahabad High Court and Judge of Allahabad High Court and Rajasthan High Court. Judgeship He was elevated as Judge of Rajasthan High Court on 5 July 2007. He was transferred as Judge of Allahabad High Court on 15 March 2019. He was appointed Acting Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court on 26 June 2021. On 16 November 2021 he was transferred to Madras High Court and on 22 November 2021 he took charge as Acting Chief Justice of Madras High Court. On 1 February 2022 he was elevated as Chief Justice of the Madras High Court. On 14 February 2022 he took charge as the 51st Chief Justice of the prestigious Madras High Court. Tamilnadu Governor R. Madras High Court
The Madras High Court is a High Court in India. It has appellate jurisdiction over the state of Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry. It is located in Chennai, and is the third oldest high court of India after the Calcutta High Court in Kolkata and Bombay High Court in Mumbai. The Madras High Court is one of three high courts of colonial India established in the three Presidency Towns of Madras, Bombay and Calcutta by letters patent granted by Queen Victoria, dated 26 June 1862. It exercises original jurisdiction over the city of Chennai, as well as extraordinary original jurisdiction, civil and criminal, under the letters patent and special original jurisdiction for the issue of writs under the Constitution of India. Ram Nath Kovind
Ram Nath Kovind (; born 1 October 1945) is an Indian politician who served as the 14th President of India from 2017 to 2022. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the second person after K. R. Narayanan, from the Dalit community to occupy the post. Prior to his presidency, he served as the 26th Governor of Bihar from 2015 to 2017 and as a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from 1994 to 2006. Allahabad High Court
Allahabad High Court, also known as High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is the high court based in Prayagraj that has jurisdiction over the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was established on 17 March 1866, making it one of the oldest high courts to be established in India. History Prayagraj became the seat of Government of North-Western Provinces and a High Court was established in 1834 but was shifted to Agra within a year. In 1875 it shifted back to Prayagraj. The former High Court was located at the Accountant General's office at the University of Allahabad complex. Rajasthan High Court
The Rajasthan High Court is the High Court of the state of Rajasthan. It was established on 29 August 1949 under the ''Rajasthan High Court Ordinance, 1949''. The seat of the court is at Jodhpur. The court has a sanctioned judge strength of 50. There were five High Courts functioning in the various units of the States - at Jodhpur, Jaipur and Bikaner, the High Courts of former Rajasthan and Matsya Union, before unification of the Rajasthan. The Rajasthan High Court Ordinance, 1949 abolished these different jurisdictions and provided for a single High Court for the entire State.
