Mundoolun is a rural locality in the City of Logan, Queensland, Australia. In the , Mundoolun had a population of 1,551 people. The locality was one of the first pastoral runs in the Logan/Albert River catchment. Geography The locality is located in the Albert River valley, bounded by the Albert River to the east and the Birnam Range to the west. Mundoolun Bridge marks the boundary between the Upper and Lower Albert River reaches. In recent years housing lots have been developed as part of 'The Mundoolun Estate' situated east of Mundoolun Road. The Beaudesert–Beenleigh Road through the south-east corner. Logan City is a local government area situated within the south of the Brisbane metropolitan area in South East Queensland, Australia. Boyland is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region, Queensland, Australia. In the Boyland had a population of 823 people. Geography Boyland's western extent is defined by the Albert River. In the east the slopes of Tamborine Mountain rise sharply to elevations greater than 500 m. History The area is named after the Boyland railway station which is in turn named after George Boyland, the chairman of Tamborine Shire Council from 1907 to 1908 and supporter of the Canungra branch railway. Boyland Post Office opened on 1 July 1927 (a receiving office had been open from 1915) and closed in 1945. Jimboomba is a town and locality in the City of Logan, Queensland, Australia. In the , the locality of Jimboomba had a population of 13,201 people. Geography Jimboomba is situated on the Mount Lindesay Highway, by road south-east of Logan Central and by road south of Brisbane central business district. The western part of Jimboomba is bordered by the new suburb of Glenlogan and the Logan River; the only bridge within the locality is Payne Bridge on Cusack Lane (). Moreton Bay is a bay located on the eastern coast of Australia from central Brisbane, Queensland. It is one of Queensland's most important coastal resources. The waters of Moreton Bay are a popular destination for recreational anglers and are used by commercial operators who provide seafood to market. Mount Barney is a mountain within the Scenic Rim Region in south-east Queensland, Australia. It lies approximately south-west of Brisbane, not far from the Queensland - New South Wales border, and forms part of the McPherson Range. It is a popular destination for bushwalkers and campers. Mount Barney is the sixth or seventh highest mountain in Queensland and is often regarded as one of the most impressive parts of the Scenic Rim. The mountain consists of two main peaks, (East Peak and the slightly higher West Peak), and smaller subsidiary peaks. East Peak is probably the most popular destination for bushwalkers.
