Multi-Man
Multi-Man (Duncan Pramble) is a fictional character that has been both a superhero and a supervillain in DC Comics comic books, primarily as a villain for the Challengers of the Unknown. His first appearance was in ''Challengers of the Unknown'' #14 (July 1960), and the character quickly became a recurring enemy. He appeared in at least one issue a year through 1968. In 1965, Multi-Man brought several of the ''CotU'' villains together into a League of Challenger-Haters. Fictional character biography Originally an enemy of the Challengers of the Unknown, Pramble consumes a substance known as "Liquid Light" found in an ancient temple. The effect of this substance is that whenever he dies, he resurrects with a different, random superpower, often becoming "energy beings" or monsters. Challengers Of The Unknown
The Challengers of the Unknown is a fictional group of adventurers appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. The quartet of adventurers explored paranormal occurrences while facing several fantastic menaces. The characters' provenance is uncertain. Various sources credit the group as the sole creation of artist and storyteller Jack Kirby, a co-creation with writer Dave Wood or a co-creation with Kirby's former partner Joe Simon. Following the end of the ''Challengers'' comic, DC has revived the characters in different incarnations over the years. Some have claimed that Kirby reworked the basic concept of the series with Stan Lee in 1961 to create ''The Fantastic Four'', the first creation that marked the rise of Marvel Comics. Major Disaster is a former DC Comics supervillain and reluctant amoral superhero. Publication history Major Disaster debuted in ''Green Lantern'' (volume 2) #43 and was created by Gardner Fox and Gil Kane. Fictional character biography Paul Booker was nothing more than a cheap crook. On the run from the police, he found an unlocked apartment window and climbed in to hide out. Unbeknownst to him, it belonged to Thomas Kalmaku, Green Lantern's former friend and confidant. Accidentally activating a hidden control panel, he discovered Kalmaku's casebook on Green Lantern. Using this, he found out the secret identities of both Green Lantern and the Flash. Armed with this knowledge, he decided to embark on a criminal career under the name of "Major Disaster", and hired a group of criminal scientists to create devices for him capable of causing natural disasters. Suicide Squad
The Suicide Squad is an antihero/supervillain team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The first version of the Suicide Squad debuted in ''The Brave and the Bold'' #25 (September 1959) and the second and modern version, created by John Ostrander, debuted in '' Legends'' #3 (January 1987). Various incarnations of the Suicide Squad have existed throughout the years as depicted in several self-titled comic book series, from its origins in the Silver Age to its modern-day Post-''Crisis'' reimagining, to the current version that was introduced in 2016.
