Mukah Airport
Mukah Airport is an airport in Mukah, a town in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia. History Old STOLport The old STOLport (Short Take-Off and Landing airport) was opened in 1960s and could only handle 67 passengers at one time. The STOLport was equipped with a 1,097-meter bitumen runway. In 2020, the STOLport handled 29,011 passengers and 3,150 aircraft movements annually. The old STOLport saw its last day of operations on 16 June 2021 with the final flight departing for Miri at 1.20pm. New airport In April 2009, the federal government allocated RM436 million for a new airport in Mukah. Sibu Airport
Sibu Airport is an airport located east south east of Sibu, a town in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia. In 2018, the airport handled 1,579,528 passengers on 20,869 flights and also handled 1,443 metric tonnes of cargo. The airport is the 11th busiest airport in Malaysia, and the 3rd busiest in Sarawak in terms of passengers handled. In April 2009, the airport was given RM 150 million for an upgrade of the terminal building. Miri Airport is an airport located south east of Miri, Malaysia, Miri, a city in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. The airport is the sixth-busiest airport in Malaysia, and the second-busiest in Sarawak. Kuching International Airport ( Initialised: KIA) is an international airport serving the entire southwestern region of Sarawak, Malaysia. It is located south of Kuching city centre. The airport is colocated with the RMAF Kuching, home to the No. 7 Squadron RMAF. The airport terminal is capable of handling five million passengers per annum and it is the fourth busiest airport in Malaysia. Bintulu Airport is an airport serving Bintulu, a town in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia. The airport is located , by road, southwest of the city, and although small, it is able to handle planes as large as a Boeing 747.
