Muhammad Adil Khan
Muḥammad Adil Khan (or Adil Khān; 195710 October 2020) was a Pakistani Sunni Muslim scholar who served as the rector of Jamia Farooqia. He was seen as an influential scholar in Pakistan. Khan was an alumnus of the Jamia Farooqia and the University of Karachi and taught at the International Islamic University Malaysia for eight years from 2010 to 2018. He was assassinated by unknown armed men near a shopping center in Shah Faisal Colony, Karachi on 10 October 2020. Biography Muhammad Adil Khan was born in 1957. He was the son of Saleemullah Khan. He graduated in the traditional dars-e-nizami from Jamia Farooqia in 1973; he got a B.A in human science in 1976, an M.A in Arabic in 1978 and a PhD in Islamic culture in 1992 from the University of Karachi. Liaquat National Hospital
The Liaquat National Hospital is located at Stadium Road, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. History Soon after Independence the Red Cross Fete Committee, which was chaired by Syed Wajid Ali, raised about PKR 800,000 through meena bazaars organized under the guidance of Rana Liaquat Ali Khan. At a meeting chaired by Khan, the committee decided to establish a national hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. Malik Ghulam Muhammad, the governor-general of Pakistan, laid the foundation stone of the hospital on 23 February 1953. After completion, president of Pakistan, Iskander Mirza, inaugurated it on 16 October 1958. In memory of Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan, the first Prime Minister of Pakistan who were assassinated in 1951, the national hospital was renamed later as Liaquat National Hospital. Muhammad Taqi Usmani (born 5 October 1943) is a Pakistani Islamic scholar and former judge who is the current president of the Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia and the vice president and Hadith professor of the Darul Uloom Karachi. An intellectual leader of the Deobandi movement, he has authored 143 books in Urdu, Arabic and English, including a translation of the Qur'an in both English and Urdu as well a 6-volume commentary on the ''Sahih Muslim'' in Arabic, '' Takmilat Fath al-Mulhim'' and ''Uloomu-l-Quran''. He has written and lectured extensively on hadith, and Islamic finance.
