MICA, formerly Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, is a business school and an autonomous, non-profit institute of higher education, located on the outskirts of the western Indian city of Ahmedabad. Established in 1991, MICA is the only residential institute in India and perhaps in the Asia-Pacific region, dedicated to creating leadership in the area of Strategic Marketing and Communication. MICA has a wide range of academic offerings including residential programmes for Post Graduate Management Studies and a Fellow Programme in Management (Communication) (residential, but off campus). Shailendra Raj Mehta
Shailendra Raj Mehta (born 9 July 1959) is an Indian economist who is specialized in Microeconomics theory, institution design, industrial organization, Information economics, Experimental economics, strategic management and Entrepreneurship. He was chairman of the Board of Management at Auro University. In 2017, he became the President and Director of MICA (institute), Ahmedabad. In December 2020, the Ministry of Education, Government of India, appointed him as a member of the Mission High-Level Committee (MHLC) of the Indian Knowledge System.
