Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka
Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka is the Member of Parliament for Asawase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana of the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and the 8th parliaments of the 4th Republic of Ghana. He was the Minority Chief Whip in the Parliament of Ghana. Early life and education Muntaka was born on 17 October 1971 and hails from Akuse in the Eastern Region of Ghana but his parents originally came from the northern part of Ghana in a town called Kumbungu. He is a product of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He acquired a Masters of Science degree in Development Policy and Planning from the university in the year 2004. Muntaka wrote his common entrance exam in 1987.and continued to gain his B.Sc Agric (Agriculture Economist) in 2000 and MSc Development Policy and Planning (Development Planner) in 2004. Kumbungu is a town in the Kumbungu District of the Northern Region of Ghana. Kumbungu is the capital of Kumbungu district. Commission On Human Rights And Administrative Justice
The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice(CHRAJ) is an independent governmental organization charged with safeguarding of human rights and investigating human rights abuses in Ghana. It was established in 1993 by Act 456 of the Parliament of Ghana as directed by Article 216 of the 1992 Ghana constitution. Creation and composition The 1992 Ghana Constitution directs the legislature to establish a commission with mandate to be The National Human Rights Institution of Ghana, the Ombudsman of Ghana and an Anti-Corruption Agency and Ethics Office for the Public Service of Ghana. The commission was duly establish in 1993 with the passage of the CHRAJ Act, Act 456. The commission is made up of a commissioner and two deputy commissioners, who are appointed by the President of Ghana under Article 70 of the Ghanaian constitution.
