Mrs. Greenbird is a German folk music, folk duo consisting of Sarah Nücken and Steffen Brückner. They are best known for winning X Factor (Germany season 3), season three of the X Factor (German TV series), German version of ''The X Factor''. Career 2006–2012: Formation and early career Nücken and Brückner met in 2006 in Cologne and formed Mrs. Greenbird. The duo originally called themselves "Goldkehlchen und der Mann mit Hut" comedically before deciding on "Mrs. Greenbird". The name comes from a dead green parrot they found at their home. Germany participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song " Black Smoke", written by Michael Harwood, Ella McMahon and Tonino Speciale. The song was performed by Ann Sophie. Blitzkrieg Bop is a song by American punk rock band, Ramones, released in February 1976 as their debut single in the United States. It appeared as the opening track on the band's debut album, ''Ramones'', released two months later. David Pfeffer (born 11 April 1982) is a German singer. He rose to fame during the second series of the German ''X Factor'' show, which he won in December 2011. David Pfeffer, who is also a police officer in Duisburg, Germany, released his debut album ''I Mind'' on 9 December 2011, which entered the German charts at No.20. The album, ''I Mind'' includes Pfeffer's single "I'm Here", which also was released on the same day as the album, 9 December 2011. ''X Factor'' is the German version of ''The X Factor'', a show originating from the United Kingdom. It is a television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions. The show's inaugural German season started in August 2010. RTL broadcast the first two kick-off shows. The other episodes have been shown on VOX. Both channels are part of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland. The seasons 1-3 of X Factor were produced by Grundy Light Entertainment, another RTL Group company. "Falling Slowly" is a song in the indie folk and indie rock genres that was written, composed and performed by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová.
