Movisport
Movisport is a rally team and marketing agency based in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The rally team, ''Scuderia Campione Movisport'' competes in the Italian national championship, the European Rally Championship and the World Rally Championship (WRC), and in 2021, won the Teams championship title of the support series, WRC2. The marketing agency provides advertising and promotion services linking brands with racing drivers and teams. The rally team's accomplishments therefore include those of the drivers and teams the marketing agency has worked with. History The team was founded in 1999 by Italian Zelindo Melegari primarily for his own rally driving purposes but other drivers were soon to join him in the team. Giandomenico Basso was driving for Movisport as early as 2001 on occasion and, as an agency partner in 2006, he won both the European Rally Championship and Intercontinental Rally Challenge, followed up in 2009 with another ERC win and the Italian National championship in 2016. 2021 World Rally Championship-2
The 2021 FIA World Rally Championship-2 is the ninth season of the World Rally Championship-2, an auto racing championship for rally cars that is recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the second-highest tier of international rallying. The category is open to cars entered by teams and complying with Rally2 regulations. The championship began in January 2021 with the Rallye Monte-Carlo and is due to conclude in November 2021 with Rally Monza, and will run in support of the 2021 World Rally Championship. Mads Østberg and Torstein Eriksen were the defending 2020 drivers' and co-drivers' champions. Toksport WRT are the defending teams' champions. Andreas Mikkelsen was crowned 2021 drivers' champion at the penultimate round despite not competing there. Esapekka Lappi
Esapekka Lappi (born 17 January 1991) is a Finnish rally driver. He is the 2012 Finnish Rally Champion, 2014 European Rally Champion and the 2016 WRC-2 Champion. Career 2012 Lappi won the 2012 Finnish Rally Championship with Ford Fiesta S2000 winning all the 7 rounds of the championship with his co-driver Janne Ferm. In October, Lappi was signed by Škoda Motorsport. Lappi won his first rally with the team in 2012 Rally Poland which was part of European Rally Championship, driving a Škoda Fabia S2000. Škoda Motorsport (2013–2016) In 2013, Lappi competed full season in Asia-Pacific Rally Championship with Team MRF's Škoda Fabia S2000, and selected events in both WRC-2 and ERC with Škoda Motorsport. Teemu Suninen
Teemu Suninen (born February 1, 1994) is a Finnish rally driver. Suninen was driving for Malcolm Wilson's M-Sport WRT in WRC between 2017 and 2021. His manager is Timo Jouhki. Rally career Suninen won the WRC-3 class in the 2014 Rally Finland and 2015 Rally Italia Sardegna driving a Citroën DS3 R3T, and won the WRC-2 class in the 2015 Wales Rally GB driving a Škoda Fabia S2000. The Finn competed full-time at the 2016 World Rally Championship-2 with a Škoda Fabia R5. He won at Mexico with TGS Worldwide, and at Italy and Poland with Oreca, finishing third in the drivers' championship behind Esapekka Lappi and Elfyn Evans. For the 2017 World Rally Championship-2, he joined M-Sport to drive a Ford Fiesta R5. Erik Cais
Erik Cais (born 5 August 1999) is a Czech rally driver born in Zlín, Czech Republic. His father is the former cyclist Miroslav Cais. Erik Cais is a current driver of the Yacco ACCR Team belonging to the Autoclub of the Czech Republic, his current co-driver is Jindřiška Žáková, who has navigated Martin Vlček in the past. Before his time in motorsport, Cais was a downhill bike racer alongside another rally driver, Frenchman Nicolas Vouilloz. His rally debut came in an Opel Adam, Opel Adam Cup in 2018 before quickly moving to a Peugeot 208 R2 in the Czech championship.
