Mott's
Mott's is an American company involved primarily in producing apple-based products, particularly juices and sauces. The company was founded in 1842 by Samuel R. Mott of Bouckville, New York, who made apple cider and vinegar. In 1914, the company merged with the W. B. Duffy Cider Company to become Duffy-Mott. In early 2006, all of Mott's beverage brands were folded into Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages. Today, Mott's continues to operate as a separate unit of Keurig Dr Pepper (recently demerged from Cadbury Schweppes plc). History The Mott's company was founded in 1842 by Samuel R. Yoo-hoo
Yoo-hoo is an American brand of chocolate-flavored beverage that was developed by Natale Olivieri in Garfield, New Jersey, in 1928 and is currently manufactured by Mott's. As of 2019, the drink is primarily made from water, high-fructose corn syrup and whey. History Natale Olivieri started bottling carbonated fruit drinks in the mid-1920s. However, when he attempted to bottle a chocolate drink, he found that it would soon spoil. Observing his wife canning fruits and vegetables, he asked her to use the same heat processing techniques with his chocolate drink. He began bottling the pasteurized chocolate drink named Yoo-Hoo at 133 Farnham Avenue, Garfield, New Jersey, in 1928. Orangina () is a lightly carbonated beverage made from carbonated water, 12% citrus juice (10% from concentrated orange, 2% from a combination of concentrated lemon, concentrated mandarin, and concentrated grapefruit juices), as well as 2% orange pulp. Orangina is sweetened with sugar or high fructose corn syrup (glucose fructose) and natural flavors are added. Orangina was developed by Augustin Trigo Mirallès in 1933 in French Algeria. Mr & Mrs T is an American brand of drink mixers owned by Keurig Dr Pepper. (KDP). History Mr & Mrs T Bloody Mary mix was first sold by Herb and June Taylor in 1960. They had been in the sauce business and developed their mix to create consistent cocktails. It first was used by bars and restaurants in the Los Angeles metropolitan area and gained wider popularity after it became the choice of American Airlines after it was tasted by an airline executive. Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc. (DPSU, or Dr Pepper 7UP, Inc.) was a Plano, Texas-based soft-drink manufacturing company created by the merger of Dr Pepper, Inc. and The 7 Up Company on May 19, 1986.
