MotoE World Championship
The FIM Enel MotoE World Championship (formerly known as the MotoE World Cup) is a class of motorcycle racing that uses only electric motorcycles. The series is sanctioned by the FIM and the inaugural season in 2019 was due to support MotoGP at five of the European circuits. Having ran as a World Cup from until , MotoE officially gained World Championship status starting in . Gresini Racing
Gresini Racing is a motorcycle racing team competing in the MotoGP World Championship under the name Gresini Racing MotoGP as a Ducati satellite team, in the Moto2 World Championship as Team Gresini Moto2, and the MotoE World Cup as Felo Gresini MotoE. The team also competes in CIV Moto3. The team was founded in by Fausto Gresini (1961–2021), a two-time 125cc world champion, after the end of his racing career. The German motorcycle Grand Prix, first held in 1925, is a part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Championship since 1952. The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to . The Austrian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that was part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season from 1971 to 1997, and then again from 2016 onwards. The 2022 MotoE World Cup (known officially as the 2022 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for sponsorship reasons) will be the fourth season of the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and is part of the 74th F.I.M. The 2021 MotoE World Cup (known officially as the 2021 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the third season of the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and was a support series of the 73rd F.I.M. 2020 MotoE World Cup
The 2020 MotoE World Cup (known officially as the 2020 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the second season of the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and part of the 72nd F.I.M. Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. The season calendar was significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the cancellation or postponement of many races and an overall delay to the start of the season. The season champion was Jordi Torres in his first season in the electric class, after achieving four podium finishes (including one win) and never finishing outside of the top 6. Runners-up Matteo Ferrari and Dominique Aegerter also tallied four podiums including two wins each, but retirements and poor finishes at the remaining races meant that they could not match Torres at the season's final race. Bradley Smith (motorcyclist)
Bradley Smith (born 28 November 1990) is a British occasional motorcycle racer who for 2022 is linked to RNF E-Racing in MotoE. He was injured shortly after a Le Mans start when he was the opening rider team for Moto Ain Yamaha, at an FIM Endurance World Championship event in April 2022. He missed the opening three rounds of the MotoE racing season, being declared unfit to race at the third round at Mugello on 29 May 2022. Late in 2022, Smith was called-in to ride as a rookie in the World Supersport Championship class, to replace injured Leonardo Taccini.
