Moti Giladi
Mordechai "Moti" Giladi (born December 18, 1946, Haifa) is an Israelis, Israeli singer and actor. He released his first album in 1969 after he finished his military service. He lived in the United States of America in the seventies and was a cantor in a Judaism, Jewish community. He returned to Israel in the early eighties and, in 1986, joined Kdam Eurovision with Sarai Tzuriel. At the end of the contest, they won and were chosen to represent Israel in the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest held in Norway Bergen to represent Israel and the duet finished in nineteenth place with 7 points. Since the early nineties, Giladi has continued his career as an actor and also participated at Big Brother (Israeli TV series), Big Brother's Big Brother VIP (Israeli season 2), second VIP season, eliminated only one week before the finale. Israel was represented by the artist Izhar Cohen, with the song "Olé, Olé", at the 1985 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 4 May in Gothenburg, Sweden. "Olé, Olé" was the winner of the Israeli national final, held on 28 March. Avi Kushnir
Abraham Yeshayahu (Avi) Kushnir ( he, אבי קושניר, born 26 August 1960) is an Israeli comedian, actor and host. Early life During high school Kushnir studied at the youth village HaKfar HaYarok. Afterwards, during his mandatory military service, Kushnir served in an Infantry unit. After his army service Kushnir worked as a stagehand and later on began directing plays. Career His professional career as an actor began in the early 1980s when he began performing in stand-up shows. In 1985 Kushnir hosted the Festigal, an annual Israeli singing show alongside Gadi Yagil. Israel has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 44 times since making its debut in . Izhar Cohen ( he, יזהר כהן; born March 13, 1951) is an Israeli singer who won the 1978 Eurovision Song Contest. Biography Izhar Cohen was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and raised in Givatayim, to a family of singers of Yemenite-Jewish descent – Shlomo Cohen, Sarah Cohen, and Hofni, Pini, and Vardina Cohen. Singing and stage career Cohen started to sing when he was a child and joined his father in his performances. At 18, Cohen joined the IDF's Nachal entertainment troupe. During the 1970s Cohen was one of the most played singers in Israel. Representing Israel, he won the 1978 Eurovision Song Contest with the group Alphabeta performing "A-Ba-Ni-Bi" with music by Nurit Hirsh and words by Ehud Manor. The title of the song is the Hebrew word "''ani''" (first person singular pronoun) expressed in the popular children's language game " Bet language".
