The Motherland Party ( az, Ana Vətən Partiyası, AVP) is an Azerbaijani political party established in 1990, and formally registered in 1992. History Early years Fazail Agamali took an active role in the independence movement in Azerbaijan between 1988 and 1990 and he was a prominent figure of the Azerbaijan Popular Front. However, a number of controversies arose between him and other movement leaders after the Black January incidents. The process concluded with the resignation of Fazail Agamali from the Popular Front. After these developments, supporters of Agamali demanded the formation of a new political party. Hence, on 24 November 1990 founding congress of the Motherland Party took place and Fazail Agamali elected as the chairman of the party. People's Servants for Latvia (, TKL), initially Motherland ( lv, Dzimtene), is a populist party in Latvia, founded in 2004. Its chairman was Viktors Kalnbērzs and its membership included currency exchange businessman Juris Žuravļovs. History The founding parties were the Social Democratic Welfare Party led by Žuravļovs, "For Freedom, Social Justice and Equal Rights" (Russian abbreviation "ЗаСССР", meaning "For USSR") and the Latvian Youth Party of Jānis Kuzins. From 2005 Motherland was represented on the Riga City Council, being elected in a coalition with the Socialist Party of Latvia. Motherland Party (Turkey)
The Motherland Party ( tr, Anavatan Partisi, abbreviated as ANAVATAN, formerly ANAP) is a political party in Turkey. It was founded in 1983 by Turgut Özal. It merged with the Democratic Party in October 2009, but in the September of 2011 the party was re-established again. Its current president is İbrahim Çelebi. The ANAP was considered a centre-right neoliberal, conservative and nationalist party that supported restrictions on the role that government can play in the economy and also supported private capital and enterprise and some public expressions of religion. The All-Russian Political Party "Rodina" (russian: Всероссийская политическая партия «Родина», Vserossiyskaya politicheskaya partiya "Rodina") is a nationalist political party in Russia. It was a coalition of thirty nationalist groups that was established by Dmitry Rogozin,Bryant, Jordan"Rodina" School of Russian and Asian Studies. Sergey Glazyev, Sergey Baburin, Viktor Gerashchenko, Georgy Shpak, Valentin Varennikov and others in August 2003.
