Plot summary The story begins in the Mossflower Wood, where a community of animals suffers under the tyranny of a ruling wildcat named Verdauga Greeneyes. While there, his sword is broken by Verdauga's daughter, Tsarmina, and he is imprisoned within the Kotir dungeons. David Elliot is a New Zealand illustrator and author, known internationally for his contributions to the ''Redwall'' fantasy series by British author, Brian Jacques. Peter Michael Lyon is a UK-based visual artist who has worked in a wide range of 2D and 3D media spanning from traditional oil painting to computer graphics, for the science fiction and fantasy genres.
